Product Description
The London Distillery Company created Embarque as a tribute to London’s historic docks and the trade routes that once brought sherry casks into the city. The whisky began its life in refill barrels to preserve the clarity of its heritage grain spirit. The maturation continued in first-fill oloroso casks from Bodegas Barbadillo in Spain, drawing out rich layers from the wood. The character shows dried fruit, nuts and spice, with oxidative depth woven into the bright core of the spirit. This release captures the link between London’s river trade and the traditions of Spanish sherry-making.
