We looked for a whisky that embodied Gemini's dual nature, and this smoky-yet-peaty dram, packed with orchard fruit and biscuity grain, fits the bill. Fragrant smoke and citrus are perfectly balanced by apples and smouldering grass.

Tasting Notes

- Nose
  Singed lime peel and old leather with building barbecued apples, singed blossom and damp grass. Biscuity notes develop: caramel digestives and Garibaldis.
- Palate
  Bright and crunchy, with barley sugar and lime boiled sweets sat alongside fragrant burning grass and soft peatiness. Fruity dark chocolate, freshly sliced Granny Smith apples and charcoal notes develop.
- Finish
  Char and sweet barley sugar linger, with lime peel and lime sweets slowly fading.

The conversationalist. Skimming along in an incredibly light-footed way, with a constantly curious mind, speaking words laced with plenty of wit. A sign that’s buzzing with restless energy and a playful spirit, thriving on social interaction, with a passion for ideas and stories. Influenced by Mercury, Geminis are mercurial beings, often dancing between identities, living in the mind as much as the world.

We were inspired to create this series of specially selected whiskies by the 12 signs of the zodiac. We scoured Scotland in search of casks with the perfect combination of flavours to evoke the character and feel of these ancient archetypes. Each bottling created for The Zodiac Series is limited to the outturn of a single cask and is offered without chill filtration or added colouring.
