Colombian Rum named after Severo Arango y Ferro, nicknamed ‘El Dictador’, who in the 1700’s oversaw the trade between Spain and their colonies, his descendant Don Julio Arango y Parra founded Destileria Colombiana in 1913 and thus the Dictador rum was born.
