Puerto Rican Rum distilled by Destileria Serralles from its facility in Ponce. The family connection dates to 1820s, when Hacienda Teresa sugar cane plantation was founded by Juan Sebastian Serralles, who arrived from Spain and settled in Ponce. Following his father’s footsteps Don Juan founded Hacienda Mercedes sugar plantation in 1861, named after his wife.
