In 2007 Starward Whisky was born, founded by David Vitale in a former aircraft maintenance hangar in Melbourne’s Easter Fields, and in 2016 Starward Distillery was built in Melbourne’s Docklands Precinct. Starward utilises the city’s volatile weather, often said to experience four seasons in a day, as well as a variety of casks to create fruity, dynamic whiskies with an emphasis on bold flavours.
