Liqueurs

The world of liqueurs is incredibly diverse, from sweet digestifs macerated with fruits to bitter herbal liqueurs, the latter of which are the product of the monks of the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance and their combinations of roots and herbs mixed with a spirit base. Chartreuse & Benedictine remain to this day, and along with liqueurs across the spectrum have enjoyed a 21st-century renaissance thanks to a vibrant, resurgent cocktail culture.
