Red Wine

Red wine is produced by fermenting grape juice. Made all around the world, it is one of the most widely drunk and easily available alcoholic drinks. Red wines are produced by leaving the juice of the grapes in contact with the skins in order to extract colour and tannins from the skins to give it its style.

There are many different types of red grapes from the light and delicate Pinot Noir to full bodied rich Cabernet Sauvignons and Syrahs.

Our selection includes wines from all the major countries as well as a few lesser known regions and has been chosen by our resident Master of Wine, Dawn Davies.
