I purchased 4 of these bottles, numbered8, 11, 12 and I drank #7 when I first purchases these in 97? it was very smooth and I hardly knew I was drinking alcohol. But that's all I remember. I still have my receipts in the boxes when I purchased them. If I remember the bottles 1-6 were presented to either the board or owners of Unwins (who purchased the lot at the time). My local Unwins in Herts had numbers 7-12.
Whisky Emporium (Dram-atics) voted this limited edition from casks1407-1409 a limited edition of 2265, 1st.place in his favourite whiskies sampled in 2009 describing it as "a sublime whisky"
I have bottle number 16 of this !bought it as an investment for my kids, not for me to drink, though it would be nice to know what it tastes like !
I also have a bottle numbered 1729 of 2265. Im just as anxious as you to what its like!....
