I bought this with the intention of saving it for a rainy day in years to come, but I couldn't hold it at bay.. Now, I'm kicking myself looking at the empty bottle, wishing that rainy day was today. Certainly one of the most extraordinary drams I have purchased, it beat many a whisky I had bought at twice the price. Matured for the full term in a 550-600ltr white port pipe yielding just 710 bottles (of which mine was #435)the assault on your tastebuds was immediate; a thick, rich, chewy, porty 56.4% monster of a whisky - tarte at first opening but what a rollercoaster leading up to a lingering finish. All I can say is if you see it, buy it, buy it, and buy it again!
