It's my absolute favourite Gin. The higher alcohol level gives the drink an extra kick and a well balanced selection of flavours. Cannot fault it, other than it is harder to buy on the UK high street than it used to be.
Tried this last week, and although I have a very limited experience with gin in general, I should say this wasn't great. While the juniper wasn't overwhelming, I found nothing more to it than that. To my taste, I found it to be very narrow and one-dimensional. Just a bit of juniper, a slight burning from the alcohol, and nothing more. It should be great for a cocktail though...
