Had purchased as a gift - did not go down well I’m afraid..!
Nice. A proper drink.
Cracking whisky for the price. Decent amount of smoke with oak and leather on the pallette. If you are an Islay fan then you shouldn't be disappointed.
The first smokey smell seemed quite promising, but tasting it, I felt like this whisky has no story. And after swallowing, nothing lingers. Disappointmet.
As soon as I tasted this a young Lagavulin sprung to mind. Spicy peat with a sweet finish. For the price this whisky is an absolute bargain. Very easy on the palate. Nice medicinal scent on the nose.
