Product Description

A little water reveals a nose bountiful and complex with rich dried fruit, sweet molasses and red berries held up by vinous tannins and leather. On the tongue, dark chocolate and a touch of tobacco support honey and old oak with sweet, ripe high notes of orchard fruit and a touch of earthy almond, all dusted with a healthy helping of black pepper and nutmeg spice. Both old at 39 years and cantankerous at a whopping 63.3% ABV, those patient enough to cut through the initial spice will experience a very different side to this generous and venerable Karuizawa.
