This is a very good port from a very good year, and is ripe for drinking now. A full-bodied, sweet and smooth port with bags of fruit and liquorice flavours.
1983 is regarded as a very good port vintage and Graham's is one of the iconic producers of the region. A powerful wine with plenty of dark fruits and spice with secondary notes of roasted coffee and roasted plums. Dawn Davies MW
