The pinnacle of the Jose Cuervo range of Tequilas, the yearly Reserva de la Familia is a long-aged extra añejo, showing off the skill of the distillery. Every year, the box is decorated by an artist, and 2017's features the work of Abraham Cruzvillegas as part of his work Tequioh, a multi-media collection of works that dissect the creation of Tequila.

My friends father gifted me a few bottles of this tequila upon me telling him I enjoy it, and no other tequila so far have I tried could come close to this. No sharp hurt the throat feeling instead you get this incredibly smooth drink with all the flavours being savoured rather than wasted. Amazing. Worth a buy worth the price. Bottle is great and the art work on the box is pretty also.

Purchased while in the Bahamas. Love the inclusions in the bottle and the 'monkey pirate' artwork. Unlike any tequila I've tasted. Will savour until next years batch!

Delicious, enjoyed this product for years. I have a house in Cabo San Lucas – it used to come in little casks, it’s still available that way from the distillery. PS love the box as well, works of art.

This is the most incredible drink. It will change the way you think about tequila. Rich and delicious with such depth of flavour - oak, vanilla, agave. It is the finest and most extraordinary tequila I've ever tasted - and I lived in Mexico for a while (although I'm more of a mezcal girl in bars). This is perfect straight in a decent glass, for moments of reflection or good conversation. On par with the best malts and cognac.
