A 1996-vintage Bowmore, from a transitional period in the distillery's life where it was starting to produce a style of spirit that it has been well-known for over the past fifty years: fruity fruity whisky. This Old Malt Cask bottling from Hunter Laing is packed with tropical fruit notes, a hark back to the olden days of the distilleries output. It was distilled in June 1996 and bottled in April 2018 from a single hogshead.
