20 years ago Thomas Stolpman discovered this limestone outcrop in California's Central Coast, an environment which allows them to produce both Syrah and Roussane.
The fruit on this wine draws you in, with notes of marmalade, greengage, yellow plum and white peach. The palate is all about these lifted fruits but with added notes of bay leaf and ginger and a seductively soft finish – Dawn Davies MW
