The Vajra winery is a real family affair with all the family working in business. Having followed these wines for years they just seem to keep getting better and better each year. This Barbera is beautiful in its simplicity with all the hallmarks of this varietal but with a polish and elegance that makes it a joy to drink. Pour it into a big glass and watch it evolve and open up and most of all enjoy.
Cherry and a whiff of smoke on the nose. The palate has a some delicious grippy sour cherry and blackberry fruit with elegant tannins. Dawn Davies MW
