Product Description
The second installment in the Kyrö X Friends series, this Finnish gin has been aged in an ex-Irish whiskey cask from Teeling. Aromas of apples, cream, juniper, vanilla and blackberries fill the nose, complemented by notes of Irish whiskey, dry oak, rich malt, dark berries and black pepper that linger in the finish.

Not much of a gin drinker and I've tried gin aged in Chardonnay barrels and whiskey barrels in the past. Didn't care for them, but thought I'd try this one. Not bad at all. Tried it on the rocks and with a hint of ginger ale and really liked it. Need to move on to cocktails, but think having it with ice is the way to go.
Im glad i was able to find this, US distributers for this are rare and VERY expensive. But i dont drink alot so when i do i want it to have flavor and this delivers, you get that traditional gin flavors in there of the botanicals but the smokeness and fruit flavors ride along and deliver a satisfying flavor combination that delivers. I've only had it by itself so far and im satisfied with what i got.
