    I had high expectations when I bought that Whisky, and what happened? Disappointment... Nothing special, the Tomatin Legacy which is a lot cheaper than the Glenlossie was better, more balanced and straightforward.

    I first encountered this whisky at a pub in England which featured single malts. I sampled it because it was a label I didn't know and found it to have an incredibly smoked oak taste with slight, but not obnoxious, peaty undertones. It has become one of my favourites because it is robust and bold taste without being over the top.
