This a fabulous bourbon. Rich, spicy hint of chocolate. Very good. Need a second bottle
This is a really nice, complex bourbon. The neck pour is a little disappointing, but after this bottle has a chance to breath, it is fantastic.
Malty and sweet, goes down like a Scotch.
Was expecting something special as I had read great reviews about this one, someone even made the claim it was better than Pappy 12!!! Sadly was a bit disappointed as whilst there is nothing really wrong with it, there are IMO much better Bourbons available for lower prices.
This is a fantastic version of a single barrel bourbon. The nose somewhat heavy with oak spice, but extremely well balanced. At first taste you get some sweetness (dark fruit, vanilla) that fades to a nice spice note. Adding a few drops of water opens the fruit but decreases the punch. Highly recommended.
