    Exceptional Dram - 100% for drinking not keeping.

    Immensely enjoyable! That said I got it in a sale, if I had paid more than £85 I might have thought less of it. It is rich, satisfying, interesting, complex with dried fruit flavours and maybe some orange notes. I am not doing it justice with that description, but it is delicious!

    I bought this as the F&F Mortlach 16yr is probably my all time favourite dram. It is still a rich, oily and fruity malt but not as sweet and Xmas cakey as the F&F. All in all I'm enjoying it, except for all the online slagging off it's getting on the whisky appreciation pages of social media. Ignore the crappy hype and try a bottle. Judged on its own merits it is a fine malt without a doubt, it just has a big name to live up to
