A Perfect Measure sample bottle of the 2019 release of Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Oak, a rich and complex Highland single malt that has been matured in oloroso sherry casks, it has aromas of dried fruits and fiery ginger, as well as sweet vanilla and warm cinnamon. The palate offers notes of raisins, cloves, orange, baking spices and toasted oak, before developing orange zest, crystalised ginger and dried fruits that linger in the finish.

    This was my father favourite and we would drink this together. No one else was allowed it unless my father was sure he was a real whisky drinker would not murder it with lemonade or whatever. One of the richest tasting, smoothest whiskies I had. dad has gone to whisky heaven but the whisky lives ln :)

    Lovely whisky but very overpriced,18 year old's from many other distilleries starting at less than £100.

    Very good whiskey, unfortunately too expensive. There are comparable whiskeys that are significantly cheaper, such as Glenfarclas.
