I would love to make contact with the gent that left the message re their Uncle being a nephew o herbert Ross. My Grandfather was his cousin and yes, herbert was a man of greatgenrosity and he had a fine spirit of humanity....I was named after Herbert...my first name being Ross....I can be contacted at [email protected]

My grandfather was a nephew of Herbert Ross who owned the distillery. By all accounts Herbert was an extremely kind and generous man. I have not got a bottle of the whiskey myself but am planning to obtain one as a family heirloom.

I discoverd Red Hackel when I was at Hilton Head, at a small store near the Hotel, had many bottles. We bought 4 bottles, thinking we would take them home to AZ. Well, relatives and friends took care of that,by drinking way to muchhee hee. Now I'm trying to find Red Hackle here in AZ. Any help?
