Tomatin 1988 Reviews
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose: Subtle and restrained, with soft, sweet spices and gentle oakiness, then fresh red-berry fruit arrives.
Palate: Lovely balance between the clean fruity notes and the rich spiciness from the oak. But if anything, this is rather genteel and polite, with an elegant air.
Finish: Lingering spiciness than gently tails away.
Aroma: Strawberry jam, honey glazed ham, Cantaloupe melon, freshly squeezed orange juice.
Palate: Sweet with buttery notes; candy floss, Victoria sponge. Red fruits, eucalyptus, mint, coconut. Fading smoke.
Finish: Fresh with lots of depth.
