Help choose our Whisky of the Year 2021

Last year we opened up our Whisky Of The Year nominations to our customers. You chose your favourite whiskies, and the most-nominated three joined a shortlist of six finalists alongside three chosen by our co-founder, Sukhinder Singh, and our head buyer, Dawn Davies MW. The response to this process was great, so we've decided to do it again: starting today, you can nominate your favourite whiskies to be included in our Whisky of the Year 2021 shortlist.

What's more, to kick things off, everyone who nominates their favourite whisky is in with a chance to win an Whisky Of The Year 2020 Winners Collection – a bottle of each of Benromach 15 Year Old single malt whisky, Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve rum and Henri Giraud Esprit Nature Champagne.

To take part, simply nominate your three favourite whiskies below, bearing in mind the whiskies should be:

  • 48% ABV or below
  • An ongoing release
  • On sale for £65 or less

The most popular whiskies will be included in our shortlist of six, from which our customers will choose The Whisky Exchange Whisky of the Year! Look out for more details on this part of the process in September, and in the meantime – get nominating!

Terms and Conditions

    • this promotion is only open to people who are legally able to purchase alcohol in their country of residence, with the exception of employees of The Whisky Exchange and associated companies, or anyone else associated with the administration of this promotion
    • by entering into the promotion you expressly accept these terms and conditions of entry
    • to be eligible to win you must have nominated whiskies for The Whisky Exchange Whisky Of The Year between 10 August 2020 and 24 August 2020 and confirmed your email address
    • a single winner of the Of The Year 2020 Winners Collection will be chosen at random on or after 25 August 2020. The winner will be contacted by The Whisky Exchange in order to arrange delivery of the prize
    • it is your responsibility to ensure that your email address is entered correctly and is operational. If you are selected as the winner and we are unable to contact you, or if no response is received from the winner within 72 hours of our attempted contact, a new winner will be chosen
    • the prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available. However, the Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances
    • by entering the promotion, you agree that any personal data supplied in connection with the promotion (including your name, image and contact details) may be used by us, our agents, partners and/or any third-party suppliers (as applicable) in connection with the administration of the promotion and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes
    • the decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into
    • the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law
    • the Promoter will not be responsible for the loss of gifts as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within our control
    • the Promoter reserves the right to suspend or withdraw the promotion without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within these terms and conditions
    • this promotion and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English Law and are subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
