An incredible whisky produced by and in honour of Malt Master David Stewart's 50th year with William Grant's. Bottled from cask 5576, a European oak sherry hogshead, at natural cask strength, it's been around at Balvenie as long as David and has almost learned as much.

Nose
Fragrant and floral with fruit and oak lusciously intermingled. Citrus notes of lemons and orange peel are followed by honey and vanilla and finally a gentle hint of cinnamon and subtle oak.

Velvety sweet and wonderfully soft, fruit and citrus notes are accompanied by a beautiful outburst of cinnamon and nutmeg and a subtle back note of honey, all balanced with oak.

I recently got given this for our golden anniversary. A most marvelous whisky and I savor every sip. The citrus notes followed by a sweetness is marvelous. Very smooth yet full of flavours. I am going to try and make it last!

Despite The Price It Worth Every Penny Because It Taste A Bit Better Than By Far More Expensive Bottles Like: Dalmore 62, Springbank 1919, Dalmore Constellation 46, Yamazaki 50 & Karuizawa 50, The Only Other More Expensive Bottle That Can Beat It Is: Macallan 1926, Balvenie 50 & Macallan 1926 Are The Best Ever, All You Need With Is Gurkha Cigar Or Capanarri's Ice Cream Instead & I Can Tell That Ice Cream Is The Best Ever Thing Can Be Eaten Beside Whiskey.

Outrageously priced for a whiskey that tastes similar to a 21 year old cask. Haven't tried both casks. But for another 3k a bottle, I'll pass. David Stewart a whiskey master, yet until that bottle is priced under 6-7K.. your lighting $$$ on fire.
