Customer Rating
This is the fourth edition of Bruichladdich's Black Art series. The whisky is created by master distiller Jim McEwan and the composition is a secret. All we know is it's aged in a combination of American and French oak.

Bruichladdich Black Art 4.1 Reviews

Tasting Notes

  • Tasting Notes by Stuart P

Nose: Rich and heady with clean aromas of red-berry fruit, followed by honeycomb and Toffee Crisp. Bruichladdich won’t say which casks this has spent time in, but red wine and Madeira are the dominant characters here.

Palate:  Beautiful mouthfeel, brimming with notes of toffee and dried fruit – raspberries, blackcurrants and cherries. Very easy drinking, despite the complex flavours, and has a lovely rich texture.

    Finish: The juicy fruit persists.

The initial sip is strong, but after that a wonderful taste that awakens your senses. A smokey flavor with hints of fruit and mild sweetness . A warmth that lingers past your adam's apple.A very delicate and memorable flavor.
