Customer Rating

Scotland's first potato vodka, Ogilvy hails from the eponymous farm, just a stone's throw from Glamis Castle. Everything is done on site, from growing the potatoes to the bottling. A creamy vodka with a long finish, this is truly exceptional.

Ogilvy Potato Vodka Reviews

Tasting Notes

  • Tasting notes by Ollie C

Nose: Creamy porridge and freshly cut Navel orange. There are warm nutty notes balanced by a touch of lemongrass.

Palate: Wonderful toffee sweetness with Conference pears and a full, rich texture. Clean and soft with soft minerality.

Finish: Clean citrus notes linger with cracked black pepper.

  • Producer's Tasting Notes

Nose: Warm aromas tinged with fresh apricots and citrus fruit, green grass and walnuts.

Taste: Smooth warmth of potato spirit, a sweet, creamy character with fruity esters, a hint of toffee and green pasture notes. Clean, balanced, a rich mouthfeel imbued with the mineral wealth of local land and water.

Aftertaste: A long, lush finish with black pepper, earthy charcoal and a wee whisper of citrus.

I really did not care for Vodka until I tried a small sample in Scotland. Ogilvy's is the smoothest, best tasting Vodka I have ever tasted. Very enjoyable on the rocks or straight from freezer!

Was given as a gift. Love the creamy, smooth balanced taste. Has to be the best vodka I've had and I've tried many vodkas having lived in Russia. Highly recommend

Bought this as a present, but sorry, I don't like it at all. Very bitter aftertaste. Needs to be used very sparingly with a dominant mixer. I'll stick to a good single malt.
