Producer's Tasting Notes
-
The Nàdurra First Fill Selection is a light gold in colour.
An abundant bouquet of soft, sweet pears and creamy vanilla fudge will engulf the senses.
On the palate there is a deliciously sweet mix of tropical pineapple and ripe banana, coupled with a delightful citrus sparkle. A medium and refreshing finish makes this a smooth yet lively dram.

This is a real jem. Wow! I've heard this is discontinued. This makes me angry and sad. I wish I could call or talk to the distelery directly. Please continue to produce gold in a bottle! The standard Glenlivet is not even on the same planet. This whiskey is a belter! Don't add to much water, a few drops is good but, you don't even need that if you let her set a bit. This is a five star whiskey!

This dram beats the... out of most 12/15 y/o aged ones, i must say that Glenlivet has really impressed me! The funny thing is that i got this one by mistake as it was a gift when I actually asked for an 18 one. Nose: real delicious vanilla, not splenda alike artificial sweet smell. Palate: a complexity that will haunt you forever, its quite strange to think that an NAS dram is that good, it has a real character that will make you look for another bottle right away the minute the first one is finished. Finish: its like having your favorite candy hold in your mouth forever! But dont get me wrong, it isnt fatiguing at all. A subtle spice is also there, which helps leveling the sweetness. Hope this ff0714 batch never rans out, it will be the worst thing that whisky lovers should suffer from.
