Product Description
A companion to the much-loved bourbon-cask-matured Nadurra, the Nadurra Oloroso is a cask-strength Glenlivet that has been solely matured in first-fill oloroso sherry casks. The result is a full-bodied, heavily sherried dram that still shows the elegance that you find at the core of Glenlivet's spirit.

Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Tasting notes by Billy A (TWE)
Nose
Rich and heavy fruit and spice, right off the bat: dried mixed fruit, prunes, cherries and fruit jellies. Rich marzipan and sticky black liquorice appear behind that, along with a rich earthiness and menthol. As Alan Winchester admits, there is a hint of sulphur, making itself known with a rubbery edge, but it’s controlled and merely adds weight.
Palate
Softer than suggested by the nose, with barrel-char edges and spicy, stewed apple initially. It develops heavier notes, with rum ‘n’ raisin fudge, liquorice, woody spice (cinnamon and nutmeg) and dark chocolate. Spiced butter pastry and raisins sit beside the other flavours, giving a sweet Eccles cake hit.
Finish
Liquorice, dark chocolate, raisins, mint and pine hints, and lingering bitter char, with apple skin and brown sugar.

Color: orange gold Nose: • Before adding water o Raisins, liquorice, green grass, strong alcohol smell, custard, wet soil • After adding water o Liquorice, Palate: Undiluted: sweet, mouth-watering, very intense, spicy (dried chilies aroma), liquorice, woody (don’t know what wood). Short finish, Diluted (with a lot of water around 30% abv): sweet entry, spicy, bitter (dark chocolate), hints of orange Finish: Very short, fades very quickly even after addition of water Personally a very disappointing whisky, flavors have failed to develop even though its almost half way through the bottle (may need more time). Nose gives almost exclusively liquorice and raisins undiluted, and mostly liquorice when diluted. Taste is dull on palate, not overly exciting but very spicy even with lots of dilution. Finish is short, bitter at first but quickly loses its flavor and leaves with a charcoal flavor.
GREAT FLAVOUR , SMOOTH & A VERY SATISFYING DRINK.
Great flavour. Wasn't expecting the hit at the end, but I like it. Flavour so come in at the end. 4 stars
Nice smooth scotch with lots of flavours.
