Product Description
Kikori Whiskey, despite being from Japan, is a brand produced for the American market (hence the 'e' in whiskey). Made entirely from rice, and therefore a sort-of single grain whisky, although more like a shochu in production, this is aged for three years in a combination of American- French- and ex-sherry-oak. This has notes of melon, almond, apple and wood spice, and lends itself to use in cocktails, as well as on its own.

Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Producer's Tasting Notes
It’s beautifully golden in colour, with a floral and fragrant aroma along with notes of caramel, tree fruits and vanilla.
On the palate, you taste notes of melon and toasted almonds with a faint layer of tart apple, balanced with an oak and sherry flavour and a finish that is both clean and bright.

Smooth, dry, serious and lite, resembles sake… though it has a character Indira own
I bought my first bottle after reading an article about it for Thanksgiving. Had about 20 people, family and friends, I purposely bought it out as a interesting drinking experience. Well the bottle did not last and rave reviews from all. I now have three bottles on my shelf.
I don’t know what this is, but I know what it’s not, and it’s not whiskey – mainly because it isn’t from Ireland or the United States – but it also isn’t whisky. This is some rice-aged alcohol I never want to drink again. This is as God awful as it can possibly get, I tried it over and over again, and over and over several days but to no avail. First Japanese whisky I couldn’t drink, half the bottle down the drain. The fact that they called their spirit whiskey instead of whisky should have been a dead give away. BTW, no reference as to who the distillery is.
So smooth and light. This isn't a traditional whiskey so don't be startled when you take your first sip
Interesting flavor profile, was pleasantly surprised. Dangerously delicious.
