A fresh, spicy blended whisky that has been finished in virgin American oak casks, it has aromas of barley sugar, nutmeg, citrus, green apples and sweet smoke. The palate offers note of honey, orange zest, spicy gingerbread and ripe orchard fruit, before a spicy, fruity finish, with hints of wood smoke.

For the money and as a casual whisky this is very good value. It has been blended well. There is a decent finish on the whisky that leaves a sweet and smoky flavour on the palette with a background dried apricot. If you like your sweeter honey whiskies (and like a bit of smoke) this one is a gem and could be part of your daily medicine intake. Would also be a great one to share with those who are going to mooch; as it won't bust your wallet to do so. Having said that it is 500ml. So keep that in mind.
