Presented in a striking bottle that resembles a stained-glass window, this liqueur is named after the Reverend Hubert Bell Lester, who in 1904 created a liqueur recipe for his congregation at Christmas. His great-grandson has decided to recreate this recipe, with a few modern touches, and this decidedly festive gin liqueur is the result. Expect notes of cinnamon, clove, citrus peel, dried fruit and of course juniper.
Interesting it smells slightly of whiskey but a very smooth tasting Gin. I dont normally like liquers but thoroughly am enjoying this. I believe we will be regular customers!!!!!!
Tried Reverend Hubert Gin after seeing it on TV. Love it a real taste of Christmas x
This is delightful – the bottle is lovely and it tastes of the joy of Christmas. It’s spice, orange and raisins in a glass.
