This oily single malt offers notes of stewed apples and caramelised pastry, with pork crackling, leather, vanilla and smoked mackerel. Matured for ten years in ex-bourbon barrel and bottled straight from the barrel without dilution or chill-filtration, Batch 016 captures Laphroaig at its most intense.

    Let me start by saying "There are No Bad Whiskies" Only bad taste to the individual. I love Laphroaig, however to my taste this is the only one that disappoints me. The only way to describe it is Harsh all round.

    As ALWAYS, Laphroaig NE VER fails to please! Great nose, great legs, and a fabulous peaty (which bye the way, I L??VE) taste! Whats NOT to like/ love!!
