Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes by Edinburgh Whisky Blog
Nose
Fruity, zesty and aromatic. A classy, delicate nose that reminds me of a nice chilled Sauvignon Blanc or Torrontés. Slightly oily, too.
Palate
Juicy, a little waxy and a tiny bit of spice. This is a superb whisky. The sign of a great blend is that it is the sum of all its parts. You don’t taste any individual whisky, more like a fantastic recipe. This blend is seamless.

Nose
Streuth. This is really good, straight off the bat. Rich spiced notes, mix with plum pudding, stewed rhubarb, cherry compote and aromatic cedar woodsmoke. Superbly balanced. The vanillas start to creep in on the fruit given a little time in the glass and notes of orange oil grab your attention.
Palate
Very oily and thick on the palate. heavily fragranced, with baked oranges, subtle notes of caramel shortcake, orange sherbet and gentle smoke. With water, cereal notes develop, with cherry jam and fudge.
Finish
More stewed fruit, with a lingering note of the wonderfully aromatic smoke.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Palate
A strong sweet and elegant Speyside style. It has a rich, dark and intense flavour that rewards those who take the time to savour it.
Comment
Stewed fruit, malty cereal, smooth creamy vanilla, fragrant almonds and tangerines give Johnnie Walker Platinum Label its waxy, fruity and sweet taste mixed with slight drying astringency with subtle smokiness.

Well balanced, perfectly sweet and lightly smoky. But the price is not as good as its flavor. I paid $90 per liter with a discount. Give me another chance, I will consider other products.
This has become my favourite every day whisky Little bit of smoke and fruit. Perfect. Should be £55 though
Excellent dram. Will buy again.
rich and creamy. i prefer it to blue
Rubbish, trying too hard. Stick to Blue and Gold Johnny! Plenty of taste, sometimes less is more.
