In a sense these spirits, more and more of which have appeared on the market in the last few years, can be thought of as 'whiskies-in-waiting', although of course having been bottled early, they will always remain as a snapshot of a spirits' journey to become whisky. In this sense, Malt Spirits are the ultimate works in progress.
