Nose: Rich fruit cake, figs, toffee apples, butter, raisins, dry spice developing over time: nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice - spicy cake mix. Some zesty young spirit underneath.
Palate: Sweet to start moving on to big woody spice balanced by sugar syrup and vanilla sponge cake. Behind is a base of dark wood bitterness and rich raisin sweetness.
Finish: Raisins, spice and butter icing.
Producer's NotesColour: Light amber.
Nose: Sweet and full-bodied bursting with spicy vanilla and rich toffee aromas followed by fresh lemons, cooked green apples and a just hint of coconut.
Taste: Sweet, warm and spicy. Dried fruit cake, creamy vanilla and toffee are followed by a distinct note of zesty orange peel and enveloped in leathery richness.
