This is the 2nd edition of the acclaimed Devil's Punchbowl from Arran, subtitled Angels & Devils. Each of the 27 casks used was carefully chosen by master distiller James MacTaggart - the composition is 17 sherry casks, 6 unpeated bourbon casks and 4 peated bourbon casks ranging from 1997 to 2004.

    • Appearance

      Clear, pale golden.

    • Aroma

      Chocolate, spice and cigar box. Dried fruit emerges with water with more chocolate, vanilla, light cinnamon, nutmeg and earthy cigar box.

    • Taste

      Sweet and honeyed with balancing dry spicy oak. Vanilla fudge, dried pineapple and sweet sherry with bitter chocolate, tannins and dry nuts.

    • Aftertaste

      Vanilla fudge and milk chocolate with light lingering warm spice.
