  • Producer's Note

    To the eye: Deep sienna orange

    To the nose: Cinnamon and nutmeg, toasted vanilla and candied orange.

    To the tongue: Spiced apple, smooth chocolate caramel, maple candy and a velvety mouthfeel.

    To the end: Warm with spiced orange and brown sugar.

    A very interesting and unique Auchentoshan expression. Not many distilleries in Scotland produce Virgin Oak expressions, The Macallan distillery has produced some magnificent Virgin Oak expressions in the recent past and Auchentoshan Virgin Oak is a very nice NAS addition to the recently formed Virgin Oak trend. This complex, non-chill filtered dram is also the only triple distilled Virgin Oak expression of all, well-worth a look!
