Product Description
Originally a travel retail exclusive, Turas Mara is Scots Gaelic for long journey and honours the islanders who emigrated to North America during the 18th and 19th centuries. Matured in a mixture of bourbon barrels, sherry butts, French oak casks and port pipes, this is a fruity and complex whisky that's just a bit too moreish.

Jura Superstition was my favourite, unfortunately discontinued by the distillery. Luckily have few in my stock. For this style, Jura Turas Mara let me say not as good as Superstition but not disappointing. Anyone new to Jura, may not like this on their pallet. I liked the smooth finish with little sweet & burnt sugar flavour...
Not a bad dram on the nose – light and elegant. I'm relatively new to Jura, and after trying this expression I have to say there are some pleasing notes: vanilla custard, cherries, raisins, maybe a citrus undertone (though I can't quite put my finger on it) and maybe some fruit cake. Now if you were to add a little bit of water, the flavour profile completely changes! I'm now getting more orchard fruits? Maybe even apple.
THis is one of the worst malts I have ever tried. I bought it in Dubai Duty Free shop and I was very excited to bring it home. Unfortunately, I tasted nothing, but cheap alcohol, somewhat like blended Jonny Walker Red with some strong alcohol taste. Sorry, I couldn't finish this bottle and simply gave it away to my friend, who did not enjoy it too.
Blissful - Smooth floral honey & caramel New favourite and I’ll be replenishing soon as possible
Isle of Jura Distillery never ceases to amaze me, a really beautiful drink before bed.
