Tasting Notes

  • Tasting notes from the producer

    Nose: Notes of honey and butterscotch layered with light fruits (peaches & apricots), a hint of marzipan.

    Palate: Strong notes of tannin-rich malt, oils and dark sugar with lots of spice, caramelised Seville orange marmalade.

    Finish: Long and resinous, with dark red fruits and a hint of treacle.

    Truly incredible, especially for such a young whisky. Would put it up there as one of my affordable favourites

    Visited the UK for our friend's wedding in Cotswold. Visited the store and bought four bottles to bring back to the US. I've had a lot whisky, but this by far is the best!!!

    Wonderful aromas with a pleasant palette. I drink our American whiskeys all the time and I would say this rates up with some of my favorites. Bought 2 bottles to take back with me one to enjoy and one to hold on to.

    It tastes very good. Felt older. But just a little to much bitter almond taste.

    Incredible character for such a young whisky. No doubt a collectable with it being one of the early releases from what will become a great distillery
