      Light.

      Beautifully integrated, the tar aromas and orchard fruit complement each other. The characteristic Islay peat note has the upper hand.

    • Palate

      Full, approachable, creamy texture with some sweetness, and the quick reminder of its smoky heritage.

    • Finish

      Long lingering peat smoke.

    I thought for the price this is a really nice whisky. I'd suspect its mostly quite young spirits in the mix but still has a decent amount of flavour and finish to be satisfying. Compared to the 'special' releases from the big players at a similar price point I'd take the BBR every time.
