Ignore my previous review. This is dreadful stuff. Started out heavy on the liquorice, got to be barely tolerable middle the way through, but 2/3rds the way in I started picking up some nasty bitterness. Made me feel iffy too. I ended up tipping the rest away. Never again.
Easy enough to drink. I'm getting molassses, wood and a strong suggestion of liquorice from it. I'd normally go with something a bit fancier but this perfectly ok for the money.
I don't know where to put my review in for the captain morgan gold but I do not like their new bottles. No handles like the old one and the pour is terrible. Very cheap looking..Please consider going back to the old bottle style because it is easier to use when you are older like me
