A limited-edition cask strength single malt from Ardnamurchan, AD/09.22 is a combination of peated and unpeated whisky, matured in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks until September 2022. The palate offers notes of oyster shells, campfire smoke, waxy lemons, honeycomb, strawberries, black pepper and sea salt that linger in the finish.

    My first purchase and what a good pick, being cask strength works great for this whisky as it did for a Penderyn I bought a couple of years ago. I get a nice sweet nose with the alcohol lingering in the background and then a gentle whiff of peat joins the party. A nice fruity and oily mouth feel is finished with a slight salty, leather and tobacco taste which I find in Old Pulteney and Tobermoray 12 yr. I love it and waiting for new releases. Great work to all at Ardnamurchan. As always TWE packers my love X

    This is a grown up dram. Lovely viscosity. Great mouth feel. Not too sweet but hints of strawberry as it goes. Some seafront notes on nose and in the palate. Honey is present on the palate and finish Great value. Don’t keep it. Drink it.
