Very disappointing whisky. The nose is interesting with vibrant fruit and pineapple but unfortunately the interest of this whisky lies solely in the nose. The main detectable tasting note is cardboard. Granted this is smooth, but smooth what? It doesn't taste of anything. And the finish is non existent. The packaging was attractive but sadly it is this whisky's strongest feature. Not a whisky or even a distillery which I will purchase again.

This review is on the 10 year old brand. This is definitely a keeper. Excellent on the rocks. A sweet peaty flavor, goes down smooth. Excellent with a pipe full of Burley tobacco. I like this one more than Jamesons or Bushmills. Would definitely purchase again. Now I gotta try their Speyburn Solera 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
