Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Billy Abbott, The Whisky Exchange
Nose
Pineapple on buttered toast. Poached pears come in from the side, served with a scoop of apple sauce. There's a hint of cream underneath, drizzled over Garibaldi biscuits. Sultanas and thin toffee sauce develop.
Palate
A bag of mixed spice leads – a hessian sack of citrus peel and earthy ground spice. Tingling cinnamon jumps out of the bag, with sweet and sour apples and a touch of freshly sliced pear not far behind. Jammy notes build through the middle.
Finish
Aniseed and cinnamon linger, with apples, pastry and a touch of white chocolate all making appearance.
Comment
Big and fruity, with a healthy dose of the tropical.
