Burrough bought the Cale Street distillery in London's Chelsea in 1863 for £400, and began producing various brands of gin, including Beefeater. Production moved to Lambeth in 1908, and a further move to Kennington, south London, in 1958. This is where Beefeater gin is made to this day.
