Ponche means punch in Spanish, in reference to the drink originated in Persia (but brought to Western Europe by the East India Company), called ‘Panj’ - meaning five, referring to the number of ingredients used: Alcohol, sugar, lemon, water and tea or spices. Established in 1830, Caballero is a family owned wine business situated in Galicia.
