Despite a long period of silence, John Crabbie & Co. has recently been revived, with a £7m investment into creating a new Edinburgh based distillery which willplace Edinburgh firmly back onto the Scotch whisky map. The revival of the Crabbie name has also included the launch of two unnamed single malts – an 8 year old Highland and 30 year old single cask Speyside. The Leith motto of ‘persevere’ has certainly been taken to heart by John Crabbie & Co.
