    It is like a rum made in to a liqueur. Enjoy it traditionally hot with yellow pea soup or ice cold as a pre-dinner drink. As a dessert: keep a jar with raisins drenched in the liquor, when needed buy quality vanilla ice cream and mix in some of the soaked raisins and chipped dark chocolate, refreeze and serve with coffee.

    Yes. Introduced to it by a Swedish friend many many years ago, and have been a fan ever since. I serve it ice cold, keep it in the freezer when not on the table. The hot version goes with Pea Soup and is a classic winter dish in Sweden.

    We live in Texas! My husband and I were gifted a bottle of this from his mother, who received it from a friend, who cleans out rich people's homes of items they no longer need or want. We decided to crack it open tonight, and before we did my husband says, I hope it tastes kinda rum-y. He's more of a fan of rum. He takes the first small little sip and does a little dance. It DOES taste rum-y. Now my husband isn't a big alcohol drinker, ever, even normal beer or rum locally available, so we were both immediately curious about this liqueur. Apparently you can't buy it in the states, but it can be shipped from overseas? We feel that a jewel just fell into our hands though Haha as absurd as that may sound.

    Pour some in your coffee for dessert....decadent! Had this last night with visitors from Sweden, who graciously brought the bottle. :-)
